Here’s my 22nd pipe for sale. It’s labeled “Weston P22” on the bottom, and features a rusticated finish that a subtly reveals the highlights of the wood grain from this piece of Plateu Briar. The bowl is pre-treated with beeswax and ash from Peterson’s Elizabethan blend to aid with break-in. The stem is hand-turned from German Vulcanite, and features a Tortoise colored, hand fitted acrylic tenon. My goal with this one was to evoke a subtle muscularity that you might see from a bulldog, but present it with a slightly canted bowl for a modern aesthetic.
