This is a one-of-one pipe I made using plateau briar. I gave the bowl a rusticated finish that still highlights the plateau’s grain, and I decided to go for a smooth top to fit the classic Billiard Silhouette.
The bowl has a 7/8" bore with 1/4" walls, making it a reliable smoker that feels substantial without being too heavy. For the shank, I used a piece of ironwood accented by two boxwood rings. It’s finished with a German SEM ebonite stem and measures about 6 1/4" in total length.
I’ve stamped my "W" on the bottom of the bowl.
